No Show/Late Cancellation Fees

Due to high patient demand and the limited availability of appointments, Care Pet Clinic has instituted a No Show/Late Cancellation policy that will result in a $25 fee if an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice or the client does not show up for their appointment. Clients who cancel their appointments at least 24 hours in advance will not be charged a fee. Timely cancellation will allow this appointment time to be offered to another client. We understand that on a rare occasion there may be extenuating circumstances that prevent you from calling. If this applies to you, we are happy to discuss your situation and reconsider.

New Client Deposit Policy

New clients will be charged a $35 deposit at the time their appointment is made. Any deposit will be returned if you cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment.

3rd Party Pharmacy Policy

At Care Pet Clinic, your pet’s health and safety are our highest priorities. To ensure the quality, authenticity, and efficacy of every medication, effective 1/1/2026 our hospital does not process prescription requests through 3rd party pharmacies (i.e. Chewy, 1800PetMeds, Amazon, and more).

Clients may order medications directly through our pharmacy – either in-hospital or online – or request a written prescription to be filled at a pharmacy of their choice. Our hospital’s online pharmacy strives to offer faster delivery times and equal or lower prices versus the national on-line only pharmacies.

Why We Have This Policy

  • Protecting Client and Pet Data – In addition to your pet’s health, we are dedicated to protecting your data. We don’t feel comfortable sharing you and yourpet’s information directly with third parties.
  • Manufacturer Guarantees – Medication guarantees are typically honored only when products are purchased directly from a licensed veterinary hospital or our approved online pharmacy. These guarantees may cover diagnostic testing and treatment if a product fails or causes harm.
  • Product Safety & Authenticity – We can only ensure proper storage, handling, and authenticity for medications dispensed directly through our hospital or our trusted pharmacy partner. Third-party pharmacies may pose risks of counterfeit, expired, or improperly stored products.
  • Timely, Reliable Care – Filling prescriptions through our hospital or our verified online pharmacy helps prevent delays and ensures your pet receives the right medication as soon as it’s needed.
  • Support for Adverse Reactions – If your pet experiences a reaction to medication purchased from our hospital or partner pharmacy, we can work directly with the manufacturer for support and reimbursement. This may not be possible with outside pharmacies.

  1. Fill Directly Through Our Hospital – We can dispense most medications on-site for immediate use, with full manufacturer support and product guarantees. Additionally, we often have coupons if you are purchasing multiple months of product.
  2. Order Through Our Trusted Online Pharmacy – For convenience and safety, we offer a secure online pharmacy that delivers authentic medications directly to your home. There are often opportunities for free shipping and discounts on products. Check with your hospital team for the latest and greatest offers.
  3. Request a Written Prescription – If you prefer to use another pharmacy, we will gladly provide a written prescription upon request, provided your pet has a current exam on file and has completed any necessary testing.
